1. Fuel supply
The fuel of hot blast stove is BMF fuel. The fuel is fed into the top bin by the feeder, and then into the furnace by the screw feeder, evenly scattered on the grate.
2. Burning process
The fuel is fed into the furnace by the screw feeder. Because of the effect of high temperature flue gas and primary air, the fuel is gradually preheated, dull, ignited and burned. In this process, a lot of volatiles are precipitated and burned violently. After the high temperature flue gas scours the main heating surface of the hot blast stove, it enters the economizer and air preheater of the heating surface at the tail of the hot blast stove, then enters the dust collector and discharges into the atmosphere through the chimney. Ungasified fuel moves toward the back of the grate until it burns out, leaving a small amount of ash to fall into the slag removal port behind the grate.
3. Environmental Emissions
The ash content of BMF combustion accounts for about 1.5% of the fuel. In order to facilitate ash removal, a screw slag discharger is installed at the back of the hot blast stove to realize continuous ash removal. Dust collectors are installed in the tail flue of hot blast stove to ensure that the smoke and dust emissions meet the requirements of environmental protection.

The power of biomass hot-blast stove is generally more than 80%, the type of hot-blast stove is large, the combustion is more abundant, and the power of hot-blast stove is higher. The maximum is 88.3%, which is 15% higher than the uniform power level of coal-fired hot blast stove.
